I wanted to share with everyone some good music, this is for those who are tried of mainstream music pushed down our throats! Hey mainstream” your music sucks” and I do not want to hear the same song six times in a matter of a two hour span so please stop and give a fair chance for all artist to put their music out. This phenomena of bad music has even allowed our good artist to follow instead of standing their grounds they too have folded ! Here’s to the artist that are doing things their way and making no compromises!

I love this album because she has true talent and you get goose bumps listening to her voice, not only that but you also hear her pouring her soul into every note this is what music is! I would love to see how this woman develops and grows with each album this is a must have people!

I know you all know this artist but what I love the most about Kelis is her ability to evolve  from album to album, also she realizes you cannot please everyone so if you want to try something new in music you lose some but may win more!  This album is not for everyone so if  your a stiff and don’t like to move this cd is not for you but if you like to have fun then pick this up you will have non stop dancing!

What I love about Maxwell is his consistency, you know what  to expect  when you open a cd, which will be filled with ultra love songs without the wining, those upbeat ballads that we ladies love! If you have no idea what I am talking about please do something about it from the time you listen the first song you will be hooked!

For all of you that appreciate great rappers please stand up ,with all the garbage out there, Mos Def has set himself apart from rapping to acting and great at these two crafts which some people have tried and failed terribly! Mos Def is truly pure talent and he makes his craft look so easy not only that but you can tell he does it for love and not money.

Miss Braxton does it again but I must say at first I was not impressed with this album and shelf it for awhile, picked it up again and listened to it all the way through now I can’t help but pressing repeat on most of the songs, so to all you must listening to this album it’s great!

We all know M I A for her controversy videos and lyrics, besides all that I love her dance hall feel to her songs with african drums to guest appearance with reggae artist. I love that I can dance and actually think at the same time wow how many artist can do that?

This woman by far is my favourite artist, she’s not mainstream or cares to be she just wants to make music and if it sells then so be it! Wow, you must pick up one of these albums and believe me you will be hooked anticipating the next!

This young woman by far is raising the bar for artist, she demonstrates pure talent from her fancy foot work to her tomboy dress code yet feminine. If you like quirky people you will love this artist she will take you on a journey throughout her albums, so buckle up and get ready!

This guy a lot of you may not know but he is amazing, I discovered him through someone else  heard  one song and was hooked!  Some of you are probably like “he looks familiar”, that’s right he was in the movie The Fifth Element , his music by far is more memorable than his acting ! He is worth a listen and you may even fall in love with his music also keep in mind he’s not American so there are  no boundaries to his music!

This woman we all know from the other half of Floetry, Marsha has gone on to do her own thing she has many appearance on quite a few albums and her own mix tape. This young woman by far is in a class of her own this album takes you on an emotional journey. If you are going through a break up or just sometimes fed up, put this album on and rock out to the vocals sing along until you want to scream- mission accomplished!
